The Bell Ringer is an adventure novel for children aged 7+.

By the end of the first chapter the action has started and continues to build through the story to a dramatic end.

Tom and Sally’s parents have bought an old farm in the heart of the English countryside, and they have just moved into it from their previous home near London. Their father who has to work overseas quite often left on the day of their move. It’s 1950 and the Second World War ended five years ago, but little do they know they will soon become involved in a deadly plot which started in France during the war. After arriving at their new home, Tom and Sally go exploring. It isn’t long before they find something in an old barn which starts a chain of events that turns their new life into a desperate race for survival.
